​The still arrived from Portugal in January 2012.  Permits were filed with the Federal Government, the State Government and Ray County.  We were able to gain approval and fire up the still for the first time in October 2012.

Apple Brandy from an assortment of our apples was the first product produced from the still.  We continue to expand our offerings, as connections for more local products increase and our knowledge of distilling expands.

​In 2008 Jim D. began investigating ways to add value to the annual fruit crop.  He encountered Eau de Vie, translated from French as "Water of Life".

As a home winemaker, he was drawn to this segment of the spirits industry and another passion was ignited.  Since that discovery, he has pursued ways to bring fresh, locally made, spirits to the midwest region.

Apple Brandy
The flagship product of our farm distillery, is made from a combination of apples from our orchard and
Missouri-grown apples. It is aged in Missouri white oak barrels. Sweet apple notes to the nose are followed by barrel
flavors forward on the palate. 375mL, 40% ABV (80 proof) 750 ml 40% ABV (80 Proof)


Beetroot
From the garden to the bottle! The beet distillate has the earthy aroma and flavor of this crimson root crop.
Perfect in savory cocktails like a Bloody Mary. 375mL, 40% ABV (80 proof)


Blackberry Liqueur
One of our sweeter products. Made from whole blackberries; it has an intense blackberry flavor,
with a little tartness. Very versatile in mixed drinks, it pairs well with champagne, lemonade, or wine. It is often served
Sangrias or Spritzers. 375mL, 20% ABV (40 proof)


Doña Fina
A family run coffee farm in Guatemala, is our partner and source for the Coffee Liqueur. The dark coffee is
balanced with a only a hint of sweetness making it great for a weekend brunch or as a dessert when poured over ice
cream! 375mL, 20% ABV (40 proof)


Gin #1
Our first gin release (of many to come). This Gin has a strong citrus aroma combined with a refreshingly spicy
ginger flavor. It is delicious neat or over ice. In cocktails our Gin No. 1 makes an outstanding Negroni or Tom Collins.
375mL, 45% ABV (90 proof)


Grappa
The tasty product we get when distilling the grape pommace from area wineries. Pommace is the grape skins,
stems and seeds remaining after the wine has been pressed. A popular digestive in Europe, it is more challenging to find
in the U.S. 500mL, 40% ABV (80 proof)


Pommeau
A style of liqueur from Northern France. The sweet blend of our Apple Brandy hearts and fresh apple cider is
rested for up to a year in our used Apple Brandy barrels. The result is an easy-drinking liqueur that can be served on the
rocks or added to cocktails. 375mL, 20% ABV (40 proof)


Raspberry Liqueur
The perfect addition to your summertime cocktails! Slightly sweet and full of fresh raspberry notes.
Mix with champagne for a pink raspberry Bellini. 375mL, 20% (40 proof)


Ray County Rye Whiskey
Our take on this famous American spirit. The 95% rye & 5% barley mash bill gives it a nice,
spicy flavor that is mellowed with sweeter undertones developed during the aging process. Aged in Missouri white oak
barrels. Perfect for serving neat or adding to your favorite cocktail. 375mL, 40% ABV (80 proof)


Rum
The delicious result of a small-batch trial made in our Portuguese pot still. The use of raw cane sugar instead of
the traditional molasses has produced a flavorful spirit with a very clean finish. Currently, available in 50mL bottles with
larger sizes coming soon! 50mL, 42% ABV (84 proof)
